halloween night

happy halloween!
i'm dressing up as a flapper girl this halloween, with a red fringe dress, fishnets, gloves, a leopard coat, and a cigarette holder. oh and don't forget the bow lips and heavy eyeshadow :) i'm going trick-or-treating with a group of friends, and then staying up all night watching horror films and eating candy. i'm so excited! hope everyone's hallow's eve is spooky and filled with sweets and apple cider. <3

i took this photo last autumn in central park. i wish i could be there now; life is too sleepless and stressful to handle. i feel like a superhuman or something along those lines. and this weekend will be full of trick or treating and crazy parties. sigh

the good parts of my weekend were filled with taking photos, nighttime adventures, scary stories, strawberry shakes, and beautiful sunsets. i also finished my halloween costume (20's flapper girl), and it's so adorable i'm hoping this week is a good one.

black cats and cold fingertips

my friend's black kitty scratched me today. he doesn't know if it's a girl or a boy, but it's the cutest little kitty i've ever seen! anyways, it just reminded me of halloween, which is so soon now :) it also got really cold all of a sudden, and it feels like it really is autumn. i'm so happy that tomorrow is friday! hopefully this weekend i can persuade my mom to buy me a new cardigan or jumper for my birthday. although i would be the happiest girl in the world if i got a car! <3

rainy thoughts

as soon as i opened my tired eyes this morning i could hear the pitter-patter of the rain on my window ledge. it was so hard to get out of bed, sleeping while it rains is one of my favorite things. but i got up anyways and it was so cold for the rest of the day. i couldn't stop wishing i was asleep. lately i've been listening to a lot of 'a fine frenzy'; alison sudol has the prettiest voice. i changed my blog name to bomb in a birdcage because of her album :) i recommend 'you picked me', 'blow away', and 'almost lover'. and she's also really gorgeous :) so there are my thoughts for the day. stay warm <3

october is rushing by, and it's almost halloween! i love this time of year, but i always feel as if it's too stressful to handle. i just want to sit outside under all of the pretty trees all day long! i just found this lovely picture so i thought i'd post it. dreamcatchers have been in my life as long as i can remember. night night <3

i wish could stop time, just for a second.
and walk through central park underneath all of the gorgeous fall leaves, crunching under my feet. holding hands with someone i love through my autumn mittens. drinking coffee in a cafe and just thinking. no pressure, no drama. just a blank canvas for the thoughts in my head. <3 i wish.

I'm so excited for the next 4 days! City protest tomorrow, and I'm skipping school, and then a 3 day weekend. :) Let's just hope I don't kill too much of my time, since I usually have none. Autumn has been amazing so far, I'm just loving the gorgeous leaves, the rain, and the fresh air. I love my birth season :) I also found 10 more of Dustin O'Halloran's opuses, which if you have never heard, are amazing.

thoughts.

i love the part of the day when i can just come home and think. i knew junior year was going to be hard, but not this hard. my brain feels like like soup! i went to the park when i got home today with my brother and took some photos of him skateboarding and everything along the way. can't wait for my donnie darko party this weekend <3

sunday sunday

amazing weekend. i don't think i've had this much fun in a long time. the dance was better than i expected it to be, crazy glowsticks, music, and dance moves, all under the stars. the end was even better, because we put my friends ipod on to a slow song (such great heights-iron and wine), and all i'll say is sparks were flying :D afterwards we played apples to apples until our heads were spinning. the boys came over to make us breakfast this morning, followed by another game of apples to apples. so much fun <3

autumn wishlist

oh what i would do for this set! almost anything.
autumn is finally here, and i love it. i'd really love some new autumn clothes though; scarves, gloves, cardigans, jeans, and BOOTS! i think clothes make autumn so lovely. and the leaves of course! i'm planning on going up to the ski basin to ride the lifts with some friends, it's so beautiful. i'll take pictures :) tomorrow night is the dance, i can't wait! it's going to be amazing, but i can only hope. 29 days 'till halloween <3<3<3
